Dialysis Charge Nurse - RN Chronic In-center

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and supervise staff during operational hours to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles.
• Assist physicians during patient rounds and ensure timely transcription and implementation of orders.
• Respond to all clinic emergencies and communicate patient assessment results to the medical team.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team for patient assessment and care planning activities.
• Support the Administrator with interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions for center staff.
• Act as a resource person for implementing and evaluating dialysis services and updating policies.

Requirements

• Active state RN license.
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 3 months of dialysis experience.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proven leadership ability and proficiency in English.
• Proficiency with USRC clinical applications.
• Ability to maintain color vision for clinical tasks.
