Dialysis Charge Nurse 2- Clinical Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dialysis operations and ensure continuity of care to maintain patient and staff safety
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, including providing feedback for performance evaluations
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality clinical outcomes
• Coordinate patient care assignments and supervise all documentation of patient information
• Assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and communicate concerns to rounding physicians
• Train and orient staff on facility policies, procedures, and appropriate clinical techniques
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and federal agency requirements
• Lead emergency situations and assume primary responsibility when necessary
• Educate patients and families regarding End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (R.N.) license in the applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience
