Diagnostic Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated products and services within an assigned US territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximize retention and achieve budgeted sales quotas.
• Travel to existing and prospective customer offices, targeting 3-4 existing customers and 3-4 new business opportunities per day.
• Provide ongoing customer support, including technical assistance and product demonstrations.
• Transport, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic equipment and features at customer locations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all customer and prospect interactions within the online sales system.
• Generate new business leads and identify opportunities to place instruments in competitor accounts or research settings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience, preferably in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry.
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred), ideally with a science or business emphasis.
• Ability to travel 60-70% of the time, including periodic overnight stays.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling capital equipment in physician or veterinary clinics.
• Demonstrated expertise in veterinary terminology and science.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to deliver financial presentations.
