About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform plain film radiography and diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including FAST, RUQ, OB/GYN, and vascular evaluations.
- Position patients appropriately and obtain high-quality diagnostic images for consultant radiologist review.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams to communicate imaging findings and escalate urgent studies.
- Support imaging department operations through policy development, quality monitoring, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage imaging records, patient files, and equipment readiness to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recent practical imaging experience.
- ARRT certification or home-country equivalent.
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain it as provided).
- Experience in imaging operations, quality initiatives, and program planning.
- Ability to relocate to Doha, Qatar, for an unaccompanied assignment.
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance and maintain a valid passport.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sonography experience, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound.
- Experience with digital image acquisition, transmission, and teleradiology workflows.
- Experience working in international, military-connected, or operationally complex healthcare environments.
