Diagnostic Liaison – Oncology

Responsibilities

• Establish scientific leadership in oncology by developing and enhancing professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Implement engagement plans for Key External Experts (KEEs) in collaboration with the diagnostic lead and medical teams.
• Deliver medical education and clinical support to medical professionals and provide training to sales teams.
• Provide scientific updates and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries regarding AstraZeneca products and related testing.
• Act as a scientific expert in the disease area by presenting therapeutic updates and driving positive opinions on the clinical value of AZ compounds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share scientific data and contribute to brand strategy development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a life-science related field.
• Proven ability to manage and interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong scientific knowledge with the capability for clinical interpretation.
• Excellent scientific communication skills with the ability to present complex data to different levels of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific field.
• Over 2 years of experience in laboratory work, scientific research, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of therapeutic areas related to AstraZeneca’s oncology products.
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory compliance guidelines.
