Diagnostic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform daily diagnosis and interpretation of oil analysis results in the Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM) Laboratory
• Assess the condition of lubricants and equipment based on laboratory test results
• Identify abnormal conditions, potential equipment problems, and possible root causes
• Provide clear diagnostic comments and recommend appropriate preventive or corrective actions
• Respond to customer enquiries regarding test results and maintenance recommendations
• Prepare diagnostic reports and trend analysis charts
• Support the development and improvement of testing methods and diagnostic services
• Conduct technical presentations and training sessions on oil analysis

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience in lubricant analysis, condition monitoring, or maintenance engineering
• Basic understanding of lubricant analysis and equipment reliability principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marine, power generation, or industrial equipment
• Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems and laboratory procedures
