About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the diabetes education program
- Provide individualized and group education and counseling on all aspects of diabetes self-care
- Acquire and maintain accreditation by the American Diabetes Association
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license from the Montana State Board of Nurse Examiners
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Certified as a Diabetes Educator or willingness to obtain CDE
- Experience in chronic disease management, particularly in diabetes
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across multiple education levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
