Diabetes Educator/Diabetes Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically focused customer education and support via phone to assist patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
• Answer incoming and outbound clinical questions with empathy to ensure first-call resolution and customer retention.
• Support the Omnipod portfolio journey, including onboarding, troubleshooting, and product education.
• Review and educate customers on diabetes data management reports to assist in healthcare provider conversations.
• Document all customer interactions accurately within the CRM system and meet departmental KPIs.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field of study.
• 2-3 years of clinical experience working directly with patients.
• Full proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work onsite in an office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems.
• Previous experience in virtual or phone-based clinical support.
• Experience providing clinical assessment and troubleshooting via telephone.
• Prior industry or commercial experience in the medical device field.
