DHA Nurse DSO

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and blood glucose checks.
• Assist in diabetes management, including insulin administration, medication management, and patient education.
• Support physicians and specialists during consultations, medical procedures, and treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans in the EMR system.
• Collect and record patient health data to assist in identifying trends and potential complications.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, safety standards, and DHA regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct monthly International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) audits and support JCIA compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, dietitians, and lifestyle coaches.

Requirements

• Valid DHA License as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in endocrinology or diabetes care.
• Strong knowledge of JCIA accreditation standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems and digital healthcare technologies.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in diabetes management, chronic disease care, or digital health solutions.
• Experience with data collection, wearable devices, or patient education.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
