DGM - Production

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring production processes run efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Plan production and packing activities to achieve monthly targets and optimize capacity utilization.
• Review daily production activities for granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling, and packing.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with IPQA, QC, Engineering, SCM, and EHS departments for smooth operational functioning.
• Manage SAP-related tasks within the production department.
• Review and approve QMS documents, including SOPs, URS, investigations, and validation protocols.
• Implement business excellence initiatives such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S to improve processes and reduce utility consumption.
• Manage manpower allocation, training, and discipline among officers and workers.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to investigations or audit findings.

Requirements

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• 18+ years of extensive experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proven expertise in Liquid, Cream, and Ointment manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Proficiency in using SAP for production management.
