DGM/GM - Packaging Development

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of packaging technologists, designers, and technicians across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Drive and implement strategic projects to meet organizational goals, including cost-reduction and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure all packaging activities and processes comply with international quality and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to manufacturing sites and address market complaints through corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead the adoption of new technologies, including Track & Trace implementations.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure sustainable and cost-effective sourcing and material harmonization.
• Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure all project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 20 years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Extensive knowledge of global pharmaceutical packaging regulations and standards.
• Proven experience in leading quality audits, compliance checks, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
