About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and improve AMD's ability to deliver high-quality, industry-leading server SoC technologies
- Perform design verification for complex processor architectures and digital designs
- Root-cause complex processor and system issues through strong debug skills
- Develop testbenches and manage DV sign-off processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams across different sites and timezones
Requirements
- 4 to 12 years of SoC Design Verification experience, specifically for Server SoC programs
- Experience with ARM or x86 processor-based SoC/IP DV
- Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Hands-on exposure to DFT concepts including SCAN, MBIST, and test-mode interactions
- Understanding of ATE, ATE functional patterns, and functional coverage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with reset/boot flows and architecture-level validation
- Exposure to SerDes loopback, IO validation, or post-silicon debug
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
