DevX/Developer Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and drive adoption of the internal developer platform and product portfolio
• Build and maintain shared tooling, templates, and internal libraries to accelerate development
• Support observability, monitoring, and alerting for production services
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure workflows meet security and compliance requirements
• Write and maintain developer documentation, onboarding guides, and runbooks
• Ship improvements iteratively based on user feedback
• Take ownership of projects from development through production support

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python 3, Rust, or similar backend languages
• Experience deploying services on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with containerized services (Docker)
• Exposure to CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, etc.)
• Experience working with production SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Track record of shipping developer platforms that improved engineering velocity
