DevSecOps Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of standardized DevSecOps processes, tools, and methodologies
• Drive automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across software development, testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software development pipelines
• Implement current and emerging technologies, frameworks, and regulations within the DevSecOps environment
• Design and develop automation processes to aid in software build and release activities
• Manage software dependencies, including evaluation, acquisition, licensing, and integration
• Support operating system, infrastructure, and platform hardening to ensure cybersecurity resilience
• Provide DevSecOps training to educate software teammates on tooling and principles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
• Active Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
• 5+ years of experience leading software teams and/or projects
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps and/or DevSecOps
• 5+ years of experience with test automation
• Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) using code versioning and build automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the satellite software domain
• Proficiency with the GitLab ecosystem
• Experience with Agile software development and software containerization/orchestration
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls
• Security+ or equivalent certification
• Proficiency with modern software development languages and configuration management
