DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed security best practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure "security by design."
• Implement and automate security controls across AWS, GCP, or Azure resources, Kubernetes clusters, and containers.
• Integrate automated security testing, static/dynamic analysis, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting for security incidents, participating in triage and root cause analysis.
• Build automation for compliance checks, secrets management, access controls, patching, and audit logging.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Product Security teams to enforce security standards and frameworks.
• Foster a security-first mindset within DevOps and engineering teams through documentation and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience securing container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python or Go.
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, or ArgoCD).
• Practical familiarity with vulnerability management, threat modeling, and remediation workflows.
