DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage application deployments across multiple environments and troubleshoot deployment failures
• Own the Change Management (CHG) process for production deployments, including preparing and submitting change requests
• Shepherd changes through ISO, TESR, and Outage Board approval gates
• Maintain security and compliance posture by managing XACTA documentation and ensuring TESR approval requirements are met
• Enforce enterprise log retention policies aligned with National Security Systems (NSS) requirements
• Operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure using GitLab CI

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• DevSecOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline management (GitLab CI preferred)
• Containerized deployments using ECS, Docker, and container orchestration
• Experience with AWS infrastructure services (Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, SSM, S3)
• Experience with change management and security accreditation processes in a DoD/IC environment (CHG, RMF, XACTA)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and rollback procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• EKS (Kubernetes) migrations or hybrid ECS/EKS environments
• Knowledge of NGA enterprise requirements for National Security Systems (NSS)
• MCP server deployment experience
• Node.js and TypeScript ecosystem experience
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
