DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code principles
• Manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS
• Implement security controls throughout the development lifecycle, including automated security testing and vulnerability scanning
• Design and implement enterprise-grade observability solutions using ELK Stack or Prometheus-Grafana
• Architect distributed tracing solutions using OpenTelemetry
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners
• Leverage Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning and Policy as Code for governance
• Develop and execute comprehensive observability strategies encompassing metrics, logs, traces, and events

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Terraform experience in production environments
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Deep hands-on experience with ELK Stack or Grafana
• Strong knowledge of Amazon EKS and container orchestration
• Advanced experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing
• Proficiency with GitLab or GitHub for CI/CD
• Experience with GenAI-based coding agents
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security scanning tools

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or Professional
• Experience with Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud
• Experience with policy-as-code tools like Sentinel or Open Policy Agent
• Background in software development with secure coding knowledge
