DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Develop automation to deploy, manage, scale, and monitor applications in data centers and cloud environments
• Provision virtual machines, databases, application containers, and licenses
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change management
• Develop scripts and automation tools for software build, integration, and deployment
• Implement security practices, threat assessments, and vulnerability scanning
• Apply secure configurations and best practices to infrastructure and applications

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering discipline
• Experience with AWS Government Commercial Cloud (GCC 2.0)
• Experience with SHIP-HATS platform
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and Fargate
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows
• Experience managing AWS cloud native databases
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with disaster recovery and system backup processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go
• Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of CNCF tools (Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane)
• Experience implementing SAST/DAST tools within CI/CD pipelines
• AWS DevOps or CKA certifications
• Experience with Web Application/API security and zero-trust architectures
