DevOps Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage tools that support software development, deployment, and integrated testing
• Integrate project functions and resources across the full product lifecycle
• Identify manual processes and implement automation to improve efficiency
• Select, configure, and maintain appropriate CI/CD tools
• Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure system changes and improvements maintain required security standards
• Collaborate with team members across the program to achieve shared objectives

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• At least 8 years of relevant DevOps experience
• At least 5 years of experience managing software development and deployment tools
• At least 5 years of experience working with CI/CD frameworks
• Meaningful system administration experience (primarily Windows, some Linux)
• Experience with Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash, JavaScript, or AngularJS
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools
• Experience with virtualized environments and managing virtual machines (VMs)
• Experience with container-based platforms for automated application deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server
• Experience with Spring Framework and web technologies (JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT)
• Experience with Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
