DevOps Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise DevOps strategy, establishing standards for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations
• Lead design and implementation of enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
• Design and implement scalable Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
• Architect and manage Kubernetes-based platforms including Amazon EKS and Azure AKS
• Develop self-service platform capabilities and automation frameworks using Python, Bash, and AWS Lambda
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Integrate DevSecOps practices including vulnerability management, security scanning, and policy-as-code
• Mentor DevOps and SRE teams and collaborate with stakeholders to align capabilities with organizational objectives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or systems administration
• 4+ years focused on AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline
• Required certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, and CKA/CKAD
• Deep expertise in CI/CD platforms and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and GitOps methodologies
• Strong scripting expertise in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, and cloud architecture
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and SRE principles
