DevOps/High Performance Trading System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage production trading deployment and take ownership of trading and operational issues
• Write and maintain complex Python infrastructure to support quantitative trading
• Ensure production servers are properly configured and scalable
• Develop fault-tolerant systems and maintain up-to-date information for production processes
• Make engineering decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and extensibility

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python and Linux
• Strong debugging skills in both code development and systems infrastructure
• Experience with systems infrastructure and managing mission-critical systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and context-switch effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-directed mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++ or SQL
• Good instincts for performance vs. simplicity trade-offs
