DevOps Engineering Student

Responsibilities

• Support the continuous improvement of delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
• Design, document, and build systems to automate development activities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
• Perform system administration tasks, including configuration management and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates
• Manage engineering tools and 3rd party IP, including procurement, licensing, installation, and maintenance for PCB design, FPGA, and software tools

Requirements

• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer) or Computer Science with at least three years completed
• Experience with version control software such as GIT or SVN
• Knowledge of automation software like Jenkins
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash
• Experience installing and configuring software in Windows and Linux environments
• Strong system administration skills
• Bilingualism in French and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Databases
• Experience in Web development to provide GUI tools for development teams
• Knowledge of building and deploying Virtual Machines (VMware, VSphere, VirtualBox)
