DevOps Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, mentor, and grow a high-impact DevOps engineering team in Dublin
• Oversee the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of scalable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
• Drive the implementation of best operational, reliable, and secure practices for CI/CD and monitoring
• Automate and streamline operations and processes to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with R&D, Security, Product, and IT teams globally to ensure seamless DevOps integration
• Shape the company's cloud strategy and drive continuous optimization of infrastructure

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering
• 3+ years of experience managing engineers
• Proven track record of operating scalable cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code and GitOps (Crossplane, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or CircleCI
• Extensive experience running Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
• Solid understanding of computer networking, REST architecture, and cloud security
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in container security and Kubernetes security best practices
• Experience working in a Java-based environment
• Experience working in hybrid or global teams across multiple time zones
