DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Improve scalability, robustness, and automation of tools and processes
• Manage deployment and optimization of production systems
• Ensure support tools enable continuous integration, testing, and production deployment
• Implement strategic solutions to keep systems on the bleeding edge of technology
• Contribute to the technology stack including web development, API development, and security
• Ensure systems are operational, visible, and designed for auto-recovery
• Manage end-to-end production operations including monitoring, notification, and automation
• Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production, QA, and Dev environments
• Develop and maintain CI/CD systems and deploy automation in AWS
• Write and maintain infrastructure documentation

Requirements

• Experience handling high-traffic production systems and troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD mechanisms using Jenkins, Nexus, Docker Registry, GitLab, Ansible, or Terraform
• Knowledge of SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, and AWS
• Experience with AWS and Google Cloud
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
• Strong scripting skills in Shell or Python
• Strong knowledge of Unix-based systems and Git
• Familiarity with micro-service architecture and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer
• Experience with GCP
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
• Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect
