DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Work with EC2, Lambda, EBS, EFS, and S3 to build and maintain compute and storage solutions
• Configure and manage networking and security components such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NACLs, and Load Balancers
• Implement and manage IAM roles and policies to ensure secure access control
• Support and manage AWS-managed databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application lifecycle

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience
• Strong experience working with Linux-based systems
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, EBS, EFS, S3, VPC, IAM)
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Bash shell scripting
• Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (e.g., SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience in a fast-paced Agile/DevOps environment
