DevOps Engineer SME

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure using best practices
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment cycles
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate application deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and cloud environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• Expertise in Ansible configuration management
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices (IAM, KMS, VPC)
• Ability to write and debug scripts in Bash, Python, or Groovy

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD management and role definitions
• Experience with containerization and clustering using Helm, Nginx, or HAProxy
• Experience with open-source databases like Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
• Experience with caching databases like Redis or Hazelcast
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
