DevOps Engineer, Professional Senior

Responsibilities

• Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline to ensure security is considered at every stage of the SDLC
• Develop and maintain automated security testing tools and scripts to identify vulnerabilities early
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to promote a DevSecOps culture
• Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and work with teams to mitigate them
• Ensure DevSecOps processes comply with relevant security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
• Implement continuous monitoring solutions to detect and respond to security incidents
• Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools for vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and monitoring
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or a related field
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GCP Deployment Manager
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CloudRun
• Strong understanding of security principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability management

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as GCP or AWS Certified Security
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and related security challenges
• Understanding of Zero Trust security models and practices
