DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking for development and testing environments.
• Provision and manage build, test, and deployment environments using automation to improve efficiency and software delivery quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and automated build and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health and implement telemetry solutions to improve performance, reliability, and visibility.
• Partner with software engineers, quality teams, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide onsite hands-on support for infrastructure and hardware integration in Gainesville, FL.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and configuration management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for collaborative problem-solving.
• Ability to work onsite in Gainesville, FL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and test automation.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with hardware/system validation.
• Relevant certifications in networking, system administration, or security.
