DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
• Work with SRE to develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
• Collaborate with Security to implement and enforce security best practices
• Partner with software developers to optimize application performance and reliability
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Participate in on-call rotation for system support

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform
• Expert knowledge of cloud services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, A/ELB, EBS, VPC, Route53)
• Expert level Linux knowledge and strong scripting skills
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch
• Strong understanding of security principles and infrastructure-as-code
