DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment
• Design, implement, and secure virtual networks within AWS, including VPC architecture and connectivity
• Diagnose and resolve VPC network connectivity issues across development and production environments
• Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code
• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers in support of microservice workloads
• Review code within Git and extract or create engineering documentation
• Support developer deployments and testing activities
• Provide technical guidance to development teams
• Conduct security remediation in response to vulnerability scans and audit findings

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience (or Master's with 6+ years)
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with GitLab functionality and scripting
• Experience with AWS services (CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)
• Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps methodologies
• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with GitLab CI/CD in a production setting
• Experience troubleshooting and deploying Docker containers at scale
• AWS certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect)
• Linux certifications
• Experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial technologies
