DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and operate secure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and scalable application delivery
• Deploy and manage Amazon EKS clusters, including networking, scaling, security hardening, and high-availability configurations
• Architect and implement AWS serverless solutions using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Step Functions
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to support repeatable, multi-environment deployments
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices using GitHub Actions to increase deployment consistency
• Implement observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, lead incident response, and drive root cause analysis and preventive remediation
• Partner with engineering teams on security, reliability, and operational readiness, including disaster recovery planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including cluster security and scaling
• Strong experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) and serverless technologies
• 2+ years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions and Git-based development
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the Elastic (ELK) stack
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking fundamentals, and secrets management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitOps deployment patterns
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in using AI tools to improve operational efficiency
