DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• Implement AWS security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate scripting and infrastructure automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure in production
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, and IAM
• Ability to reside within the continental US

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the VA or other Government agencies
• Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for DevOps automation
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Advanced Networking, or Solutions Architect certifications
• Ability to obtain government clearance
