DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage application environments on Azure and AWS platforms
• Build and maintain robust continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for application performance and health
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
• Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
• Ensure security best practices are implemented across all application environments
• Provide L2/L3 support for application and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud technologies
• Proficiency in both Azure and AWS services (VMs, App Services, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Proficiency with Git and branching strategies
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or Grafana

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Solutions Architect certifications
• Experience with microservices architecture and API management
• Understanding of cloud database services (Azure SQL, RDS, CosmosDB)
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, VPNets, load balancers)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
