DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for federal application deployments
• Manage and monitor infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Apply and enforce FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA security controls across all systems
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker in secure or air-gapped environments
• Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and provide technical evidence for audits
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation
• Automate configuration management and environment provisioning

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience within federal government or DoD environments
• US Citizenship is strictly required for access to federal systems
• Degree in Engineering or a Masters in Computer Applications (MCA)
• Proficiency with AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
• Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Deep knowledge of Linux administration and hardening (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Experience with FedRAMP compliance and NIST 800-53 security controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Active security clearance (Secret or higher)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Security Specialist (CKS)
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification
• Experience with DevSecOps practices (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Familiarity with automated compliance tooling for continuous ATO processes
