DevOps Engineer II/Senior

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-powered quality automation ecosystems that monitor CI/CD pipelines
• Design and implement AI agents to automatically detect and troubleshoot software testing failures
• Develop intelligent reporting systems providing real-time quality metrics and trend analysis
• Create automated notification and alerting systems for quality issues
• Identify and close quality gaps through systematic analysis of root causes
• Leverage machine learning and AI tools to predict potential quality issues
• Integrate LLMs and AI assistants into testing workflows
• Produce comprehensive automated test suites for continuous CI/CD execution
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to ensure security and compliance throughout the SDLC
• Manually test complex edge cases flagged by AI systems
• Work with development teams through code reviews and integrated pipelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience in professional software development (DevOps II) or 5+ years (Senior)
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven automation systems and working with AI/ML technologies
• Proficiency in Python with experience in AI/ML libraries and frameworks
• Experience using AI tools, LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.), and AI coding assistants
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation tools and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with data analysis, metrics collection, and building reporting dashboards
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and V-Model
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• Experience with AI agent frameworks or multi-agent orchestration
• Background in machine learning, NLP, or predictive analytics
• Proficiency in C and C++
• Experience with Grafana, Kibana, or custom visualization frameworks
• Knowledge of security testing tools and DevSecOps security practices
• Aerospace background supporting satellite or launch vehicle operations
• Expertise in Git-based workflows, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Prometheus or ELK stack
