DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform system analysis and develop enhancement plans for ArcGIS Enterprise deployments
• Provide production support for mission-critical systems including ArcGIS Portal, Server, and GeoEvent Server
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors through diagnostics and documentation
• Manage, evaluate, and install patches on Windows and Linux systems
• Execute cloud deployment and management for hosting and scaling ArcGIS environments
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure updates
• Monitor performance and recommend enhancements for infrastructure and geospatial platforms
• Manage infrastructure for disconnected networks and restricted environments
• Maintain system, deployment, and operational documentation
• Support the maturation of DevOps culture through automation and monitoring
• Participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Federal Government programs/contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years additional system administration experience)
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I (Level II desired)
• Experience with Windows and Linux server patching, troubleshooting, and security
• Experience with PKI certificate renewal and replacement
• Experience with Windows server security tools (Nessus, UAM, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot operational problems independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise software stack
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge of PowerShell
