About the role
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain critical services supporting on-prem and cloud-native architecture
- Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
- Use IaC and GitOps for repeatable and fast provisioning of environments
- Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and classification levels
- Provide onboarding support to development teams
- Ensure platform and networks comply with DoD policies
- Support backup and disaster recovery planning
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Identity Management services including SSO using OIDC or SAML
- Experience administering Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Experience with CI/CD automation servers (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Mid-level: 5+ years of Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD experience
- Senior-level: 10+ years of Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OCI containers, Docker, cri-o, or containerd
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with security scanning tools like SonarQube, Neuvector, or PrismaCloud
- Experience with artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus
