DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and deploy AWS infrastructure changes to improve reliability, scalability, and security
• Design and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Work closely with software development teams to automate and support AWS-based deployment pipelines
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and repeatable deployments
• Monitor infrastructure, proactively address issues, and propose technical solutions
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, best practices, and documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years of experience in an Agile software development environment
• 3–5 years of experience building and supporting AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Route 53, S3)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or CircleCI
• Practical experience with Git, Docker, and Linux or Windows Server administration
• Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, or bash
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security controls
• Experience with Gerrit Code Review
• Exposure to managing high-traffic or customer-facing production systems
