DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, secure, automate, and scale the cloud infrastructure behind CASABOT's AI-powered home automation platform
• Design and manage secure, scalable, and resilient environments across development, staging, and production
• Lead the implementation of CI/CD enablement, container orchestration, and system hardening
• Manage Kafka and MongoDB operations, including backups, performance management, and restore strategies
• Implement security controls, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security monitoring
• Maintain platform observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks
• Ensure production reliability through auto-scaling, load handling, and incident response discipline

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux administration
• Proficiency with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Practical experience managing Kafka and MongoDB
• Strong understanding of networking, access control, secrets management, and system hardening
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
