About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement DevOps solutions to support Windows-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell-based automation frameworks for deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Provide L2/L3 application support for Windows workloads running on AWS and Azure.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Automate routine operational tasks, patching, and system administration using PowerShell and Python.
  • Integrate applications with observability and SRE tools such as Grafana, Splunk, and PagerDuty.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Application Support Engineer in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and development experience (modules, functions, error handling).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) and Azure.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for production-critical Windows applications.
