DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Develop automation to manage, scale, and monitor applications in data centers and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across platforms
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance and health
• Implement configuration management systems and automate disaster recovery measures
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Implement security practices and system security architecture to protect data and infrastructure
• Perform vulnerability assessments and system hardening

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering disciplines
• Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI, and CD
• Proficiency in at least three scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go)
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with automated provisioning tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Vagrant)
• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, BitBucket, or ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS benchmarks)
• Experience with security tools (HashiCorp Vault, Tenable, or AWS security services)

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications such as CREST, CISSP, or CISM
• Experience with service mesh security (Istio, Linkerd)
• Experience performing security assessments in highly regulated environments
