DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS EKS
• Utilize Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD
• Implement and manage configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Configure and manage AWS network services like VPC and Network Firewall
• Implement service mesh technologies like LinkerD
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Analyze system performance metrics to optimize infrastructure for cost and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS services (EKS, RDS, networking)
• Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Experience with cloud native logging and monitoring (Grafana, Cloudwatch Logs, OpenSearch)
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Software development background is highly advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Knowledge of Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch/ElasticSearch
• Experience with QA and E2E tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Pact
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Go, React, and GraphQL
