DevOps Consultant, Veeva Vault

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Veeva Vault applications (Regulatory, Clinical, or Safety) including object models, lifecycles, workflows, and permissions
• Manage Vault release activities, including impact assessments, deployment planning, and post-deployment verification
• Coordinate configuration migrations across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments
• Ensure all deployment and configuration activities comply with GxP, validation, and audit requirements
• Support Level 2 and Level 3 incidents, defects, and change requests related to Vault
• Maintain accurate documentation for configuration changes, deployment activities, and validation deliverables
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and QA to gather requirements and support UAT execution

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
• 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring Veeva Vault (Regulatory, Clinical, or Safety)
• Veeva Vault Admin Certification
• Strong understanding of GxP compliance, validation processes, and release management
• Proficiency with Jira and ALM tools
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, Veeva SDK, and VQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across multiple Vault domains (Regulatory, Clinical, and Safety)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts in regulated environments
• Familiarity with Vault integrations and downstream system interactions
• Working knowledge of scripting or automation such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell
