About the role
Responsibilities
- Optimize transistor performance and targeting to maximize product yield, reliability, and manufacturability for 14nm derivative generation technologies
- Ensure targeting of transistor-focused Electrical Test (ET) trends to customer and product specifications
- Perform root cause studies for shifts or abnormalities in electrical testing
- Analyze process interactions (inline metrology, FDC, etc.) in relation to electrical testing and parametric yield
- Own Parametric Yield and Wafer Acceptance Electrical Test (WAT) management for specific customer accounts or products
- Execute and analyze experiments to optimize transistor performance and variation
- Drive task force teams to solve systematic yield, performance, or reliability issues
- Support unit process and process integration teams with device impact evaluations for key change points
- Generate written reports and oral presentations for internal management and external teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Chemical, or Material Science Engineering
- 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience
- Strong understanding of the interactions between process and electrical testing
- Familiarity with unit processes including thin films deposition, etch, diffusion, wet process, CMP, and photolithography
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in a related engineering field
- Experience with SPICE modeling, simulation, or MHC
