About the role

Responsibilities

  • Simulate various thin-film stacks to achieve target colors
  • Develop and implement algorithms that integrate the impact of roughness on optical response
  • Analyze and identify parameters influencing obtained spectra (interfaces, alloys, density, etc.)
  • Design and conduct experimental tests to validate models and correlate theory with practice
  • Write a comprehensive end-of-internship report

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Materials Physics, Optics, or an equivalent field
  • Academic experience or significant projects in optical simulation, ideally using Finite Element Method (FEM) or Boundary Element Method (BEM)
  • Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, or C++
  • Knowledge of deposition processes such as ALD, PVD, or PECVD is appreciated
  • Scientific curiosity, rigor, and strong analytical skills
  • Proactive, autonomous, and good interpersonal skills
