Développeur Composants et Broderie

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new luxury components and embroideries by attending trade shows and meeting with suppliers.
• Manage the development of external components (buttons, buckles, labels) and internal supplies (interlinings, shoulder pads, etc.).
• Maintain and expand a network of embroidery artisans and mechanical embroidery companies in Paris and abroad.
• Negotiate pricing for selected components and developments.
• Coordinate with buyers to track collection samples and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Create technical drawings, mockups, and design proposals for the Studio.
• Anticipate the industrialization of embroidery and ornaments developed for collections.
• Prepare production handovers and ensure product compliance with current legislation.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the luxury fashion industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of luxury components and embroidery techniques.
• Established supplier network within Europe.
• Proficiency in design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to create precise technical drawings and rapid mockups.
• Fluency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and unforeseen challenges.
