Development Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Mark drilling lines, blasting, and underground gallery directions for production teams
• Perform precise surface and underground surveys to update mine maps and 3D models
• Measure extracted ore quantities and backfill for production reports
• Verify excavations comply with plans and safety standards, including ground stability
• Transfer field data to software such as AutoCAD and Datamine to update plans

Requirements

• DEC in mineral technology, geomatics, or surveying
• Proficiency with surveying instruments (total stations, scanners, GPS)
• Mastery of mapping software and geometry
• Physical fitness for working in confined spaces and on ladders
• Strict adherence to safety regulations
