Development Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead an integrated product team through the full program life cycle
• Develop budgets and schedules for managing assigned programs
• Manage cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction
• Implement program management tools to facilitate execution
• Contribute to developing statements of work and establishing program review gates
• Evaluate risks and mitigation plans
• Lead the creation of proposals
• Communicate regularly with the Sr. Programs Manager

Requirements

• Experience in aerospace program management, subcontracts, or aircraft systems
• Technical aerospace leadership experience including subcontractor management
• Experience with prototype manufacturing or low-rate production
• Strong risk management and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain a security clearance at the TS level
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government agencies and regulatory bodies
• Experience with air-launch programs
• Launch vehicle and/or aircraft integration experience
• Experience with classified programs and environments
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
