About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities for new product development and manufacturing process concepts
- Coordinate factory layout planning, tooling/equipment procurement, and line setup
- Oversee production trials, documentation, line readiness, and mass production ramp-up
- Act as the primary liaison with global development centers in Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, and the US
- Build and maintain engineering workflows and support system setups aligned with ISO/IATF standards
- Support quality, delivery, 6S/Kaizen, EHS, and RBA requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Fluency in English
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) roles such as product, process, or production engineer
- Experience acting as a project lead in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma, and ISO procedures
