Development Outcomes Measurement Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with data and methods tasks including dataset preparation, indicator definition reviews, and quality assurance
• Support evidence generation for the Mid Term Review (MTR) by collecting and synthesizing data from internal and external consultations
• Draft strategic materials such as presentations, briefing notes, and high-level summaries for senior leadership
• Support stakeholder engagement processes by organizing consultations and consolidating feedback
• Maintain a structured knowledge base for Scorecard processes and methodological guidance

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or in the final year of a postgraduate (Master's/PhD) program
• 1–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Academic background in economics, public policy, data science, international development, statistics, or related fields
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, structured datasets)
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience cleaning, organizing, or documenting datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI, R, Python, Stata, or AI LLMs
• Experience with qualitative synthesis and coding consultation feedback
• Experience preparing management-facing PowerPoint decks
• Knowledge of results measurement frameworks, development indicators, or monitoring & evaluation
